Professor, Department of Economics, Cal Poly. I do research on game theory, decision theory, general equilibrium theory, welfare economics and political economy. At Cal Poly I teach microeconomics, probability models for economic decisions, evidence based decision analysis, machine learning for prediction and causal inference, optimization in Julia for economics and data science, and prescriptive analytics. Elsewhere, I have also taught game theory, managerial economics and economics of strategy.

In September 2023 I was awarded a three-year Economics NSF grant to investigate The Econometrics of Inequality-Sensitive Treatment Effects Estimation.
